To achieve METEOR\u2019s vision and ambitions, we assembled a research team consisting of the Principal Investigators (PIs), who guide research projects and act as doctoral advisors, postdoctoral researchers, doctoral researchers, and student assistants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The METEOR researchers broadly cover the two fields that are brought together by this Research Training group (RTG), namely machine learning (ML) and control theory (CT). The field of ML is represented by half of the researchers (LMU professors Eyke H\u00fcllermeir, Gitta Kutyniok, Johannes Maly, David R\u00fcgamer, Volker Tresp), while CT and dynamical systems are covered by the other half (TUM professors Matthias Althoff, Massimo Fornasier, Sandra Hirche, Christian K\u00fchn, Angela Schoellig), combining the expertise and excellence of both universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
